You can host a party or have an online based fundraising program and earn 20% of sales, or run the more traditional ‘lamington drive’ version fundraiser (where people place their orders in advance, and then have a big delivery and distribution day) and earn up to 50%.
With five fragrances to choose from including green tea and lemongrass, vanilla musk and pineapple mango, the small jar candle is individually wrapped and comes with a gift card, making it a perfect fundraiser for events like Mothers’ Day. Sale price is $12 with the school keeping a generous $6 from each sale.

Based in the Southern Highlands (NSW) Endless Candles have a simple range of elegant white jar candles in six fragrances, but you are able to customise the jars with your own school or club logo at no extra cost. Scents include sandalwood, sweet vanilla, sweet pea and French pear.
Profits are a very generous 50% of sales and shipping is free.

Gooseberry Hill Candles
Based in the Blue Mountains (NSW), Gooseberry Hill Candles allow fundraisers to choose their own range of items they wish to sell, although recommend keeping it simple with a single size of jar candle (50 hour burn time) in a range of twelve scents and some of the melts also in a range of scents. All candles are made of 100% soy and palm wax and the scents include florist shop, fresh linen, lemongrass and ocean mist.
Order forms are provided as are sample kits for display (there may be a small charge) and delivery is provided within 50km of Lake Macquarie. Beyond that postage is via Australia Post or courier and you should discuss this prior to organizing your fundraiser.
Profit is a very generous 40% if you wish Gooseberry Hill to sort all the products into individual orders, and 50% if you are willing to sort them yourself. Gift bags are available at 30 cents each.

Gold Canyon Australia
Gold Canyon pride themselves on making a candle with ‘superior aroma and burn’, and are based in Kembla Grange (NSW). To keep the process simple they offer four sizes of their most popular type of candle in a wide variety of scents. The candles all come in a decorative jar and are triple scented to make sure the aroma lasts all the way to the end. Burn times range from 30 hours for the mini ($14) to 200 hours for the large ($38). There are fifty different scents which include brown sugar cookie, clean sheets, coconut mango, rosemary thyme, and driftwood.
For orders of less than $2,500 the profit for fundraisers is 25%, for order above $2,500 the profit is 30%. Products can be shipped anywhere in Australia but you should discuss shipping costs before starting.

Soy Candles are based in Gisborne (Vic) and offer a range of products including pretty mosaic jars, tins, tea lights and jars. All candles are 100% soy wax and have a range of burn times from 4 to 39 hours and the prices are relatively low – $15 for a mosaic candle and $10 for a travel tin. There is no minimum order and samples are available. They will also create a fundraising order form for you. Profits are around 10% but if you are nearby, you could always attend one of the candle-making classes and learn how to make your own candles to sell with a greater profit.
