Ordering and payment info
Living Fundraisers conveniently offer three ways to fundraise – take-home, stall/display and order forms. There is a 10 set minimum for take-home and stall/display drives and come with a 30 day invoice. If you choose to have an order form drives (where people purchase individual units) there is no minimum but payment is required from the school/group upon dispatch of your order, so you need to collect payment as people make their order. This form of fundraising is suitable for groups who have concerns over the logistical aspects of ordering kits and distributing them to families to sell.
Freight is $20 for orders less than 50 sets, or free across Australia for orders of more than 50 sets. There are no longer any quarantine fees for WA and Tasmania to cover custom inspections.
Returns are accepted provided a minimum number of bags have been sold.
The profit on all items is 40%, with multiple drives earning a bonus of 50%.
Sales process
It is recommended that each participant be given one bag (ie from 5 to 12 items) to sell.
They are easy to carry and perfect for door-knocking or setting up a stall at a fete or local markets. They could also be taken into workplaces.
Timeliness of process
Living Fundraiser dispatches products three times a week, and orders will be sent within three days. Kits will take between one day and a week to arrive (depending on which state).
It is recommended you give participants 2-3 weeks to sell all their kits.
Positive points of difference
As well as helping your own group, you will also be supporting others: Living Fundraisers work in partnership with The Bridge Works, a community organisation which supports people with disabilities.
Sugar-free and eco-friendly.
Low price point means easy to sell.
Long shelf-life (2 years for seeds)
Great variety of items available, with easily marketability for special events such as Christmas and Mothers/Fathers Day.
Easy for children to be involved.
Profitability
If 50 families are given a bag each of herbs/flowers/veggies and sell all ten kits, then the total profit to the school/club is $1,200.
If the families each sell a box of seed-embedded Christmas cards (with ten packets per box) or a carry box of five candles the profit is $1,500.
