This round of funding has now closed.
All schools across Western Australia are invited to apply for a 2017 SGIO School Reconciliation Grant, which provides $2,000 to schools to fund initiatives that embrace Aboriginal culture and build stronger relationships with the indigenous community.
The grants can be used for a wide range of events and initiatives, such as hosting a cultural workshop for students, families or staff, reconciliation events, or inviting Aboriginal artists or elders to speak or hold workshops.
There are six 2017 SGIO School Reconciliation Grants, and applications close on 4th August. All primary and secondary schools across the state are eligible to enter.
