This competition has now closed.
Fundraising Mums officially launched on the 1st of July 2015, which means we are turning two! Over the past two years, I have written over 130 articles on this site and been published in multiple online magazines, I have been interviewed on the radio and seen some of people we featured talked about on the radio as well. We have seen wonderful donations being given to families affected by bushfire and – most of all – I have had lots of fun researching and writing and answering your questions.
Fundraising Mums not only covers all aspects of fundraising for schools and clubs but we also explore volunteering, running events, craft ideas, inspiration for parties and kid-friendly recipes. We offer giveaways, promote fantastic local community groups and generally try to save you time as a parent while offering bundles of inspiration and practical ideas.
So to celebrate Fundraising Mums turning two I am conducting a giveaway. There are five brand-spanking new prizes to choose from and all you have to do is email me at fundraisingmumsblog@gmail.com with Birthday Giveaway in the subject line and tell me what prize(s) you’d like to win*. Each prize will be separately drawn by my trusty random number allocator, and everyone will also receive a free Giggle Donation Card for you to try out. Winners will need to provide a postal address so I can send out the prizes. Entries need to be in by 5pm (WST) Friday 14th July 2017.
None of these prizes are fundraising related – they’re just my way of saying thank you for reading and sharing Fundraising Mums.
Prize 1: A copy each of ‘Dad Can Do Anything’ and ‘Grandma is a Superhero’, gorgeous hardcover Storylines books which provide a cute story that kids must illustrate. Kids design the cover and make the entire book come to life – and the finished product will be entirely unique.
Value: $40
Prize 2: A Mighty Mug – probably the most unique and practical insulated coffee mug for parents because they can’t be knocked over. Promoted by the New York Times and Huffington Post, the Mighty Mug has a special suction bottom that can’t be accidentally tipped over by kids (or clumsy adults). Your computer and newspaper will be safe from spills.
Value: $29.95
Prize 3: Double pass to Xtreme Ice Arena, Mirrabooka (note: for Perth readers only). In my haste to buy tickets for my niece and nephew to join us ice skating over the holidays, I managed to buy a double pass for the wrong ice rink! My mistake is your gain, and this pass is valid until October 31st, 2017 and can be used for any session except public holidays and special events. Valid for kids and adults and includes skate hire.
Value: $44.
Prize 4: A signed copy of ‘Marketing to Mums’ by Katrina McCarter. This book is brilliant if you are involved in any sort of business that sells to women. Mums are Australia’s most powerful consumer and control more than 80% of spending, so this book is hugely relevant if you are trying to sell your fundraising products to schools, promote your school event to mums, or even if you are a writer trying to get more women readers. Offers a simple 8-step framework which shows you how to be more successful in marketing to mums.
Value: $24.95
Prize 5: A free sponsored post or article on Fundraising Mums. This could be for a fundraising company who wants to promote their products and services to parents and schools across Australia, or for a school or community group who would like to showcase an individual, group or event they are proud of and wish to promote. This is a great opportunity to share your story with like-minded readers across the country.
Value: $150.
